Meaning-Making in Motion: Examining Children’s Experiences and Discourses During Outdoor Play Through Mediated Discourse Analysis

Place:

Murdoch University, Perth, Australia

This project investigates children’s meaning-making and learning processes during outdoor play using Mediated Discourse Analysis. It explores interactions between social and material elements to build a framework for outdoor pedagogy. Adopting a sociomaterialist perspective, the project captures the entangled relations of bodies and materials to transform our understanding of nature-integrated learning.
